Releasing WP13 engine, WEICHAI pushes high horse-power engines

WEICHAI held commercial vehicle technology conference in Beijing National Meeting Center on 7^th January,2015. This time,WEICHAI specially released WP13 series engine. This new WP13 engine’s displacement is 12.54L and its power is 480 up to 605 horse power.550HP engine can reach the maximum torque 2500N.M when the rotate speed is during 1000 to 1300.

The sales volume of WP13 engine will reach 1500. In the future, 95% of the total output will be used for the tractor market. WEICHAI predicts this number will be 0.16 million. With the engines used for machinery, marine and alternator, this number will reach 0.2 million. The release of the WP13 engine will provide strong thrust for national truck market.
